Happy Children

Took my 2 Grandchildren for a carvery on Sunday. James(8) said the food was "brilliant", I'm assuming that means he liked it!! Lucy(6)on seeing the star rating on the window(5 stars) thought for a moment and then decided it should be 158,think I can reccomend the food as they were deffinatley well pleased.

What a truly lovely pub on the levels, had a really top notch meal this Tuesday, the carvery is something a bit special.
The welcome we get every time we go in is warm and friendly. Its so nice when the landlord and landlady make time to have quick chat making you feel very comfortable. Sat by the open fire this lunch time.... pint of cider with my girlfriend...... proper job!!!

Wonderful food, never been disapointed. Warm welcome. So nice we have decided to go there for Christmas Day dinner. So helpful - when I was pregnant Row sorted out something that was suitable for me to eat as I am a vegetarian too. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!Go and see for yourself :-D

Had a number of excellent meals at The Crown and would highly recommend to anyone. Even worth a two mile walk from the next village. Well done the Crown.

row and bob look after us extremly well. Mike is vegeterian non-dairy but this never throws row and we have had some excellent meals. Tracey behind the bar is also brilliant.

Went to the Crown for our second wedding anniversary, (Can't get out too often) and it was really special, very friendly but not intrusive, food was stunning, and homemade as I managed to get the recipe for the Creamy Dreamy Chicken, will go back as soon as babysitters allow

What a fantastic country pub!all homecooked food,great beer, the steaks are their own meat and dont you know it......amazing flavour!they also catered at my daughters wedding and everything we wanted was there!perfect thanks so much
